Food Operational Manager


You have a genuine interest and passion for people and the guest experience.

You should have a minimum of 5 years’ food operations experience at a senior level, working hands on in either a high-volume catering or food production business or as an existing operational leader role.
You demonstrate a high-level leadership and can communicate simply and clearly to all levels or co-workers and leaders.
Bring creativity, organizational skills, and vision to simplify, streamline and enhance the co-worker experience.
You must have a good working knowledge of new technologies in the food business to improve food safety, daily operations and improve the guests experience.
You know how to work independently, take own initiatives and responsibility. You express ideas and opinions effectively - with ability to influence and inspire.

In the role of Food Operations Manager you should have a passion for harmonizing and strengthening the way we work in the daily operations.
You will be directly responsible for leading and improving the food operational excellence and ensuring that our commercial food experience is safe, compliant and efficient.
You will positively contribute to improving the guest and co-worker experience in all IKEA Food touchpoints.

You will:
o Secure that working routines and practices are efficient and up to date
o Plan, co-ordinate and follow up on the IKEA internal operational review process across CZHUSK
o Contribute to securing IKEA Food commitments on palm oil use, UTZ certification, ASC/MSC certification animal welfare standards and other sustainability standards
o Support the stores across the region in routines for planned maintenance of all equipment
o Be an active participant in working with sustainability within the IKEA Food business both in the food we source and serve and reducing the food we waste and the energy we use to prepare of food
o Be an active player in driving an open and sharing climate, be a role model of the IKEA values and contribute to the transformation of the IKEA Food business
o Improve the guest experience and perception of IKEA Food in all touchpoints

In this role you will be part of the regional IKEA Food organization for CZ/HU/SK
